Vodafone brings unlimited data to mobile broadband plans, from £28 per month
Mobile broadband plans on Vodafone now come with the option of unlimited data too, following last year’s introduction on pay-monthly handset contracts, and last week’s launch on pay-as-you-go.
This means, unlimited data is now available across the board.
Plans start from £28 per month for SIMs designed for tablets, mobile Wi-Fi devices, dongles, routers or perhaps even just as a data SIM for a mobile phone where calls don’t need to be made.
Vodafone is also offering a selection of bundles, like a Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e with an unlimited data SIM for £37 per month (with a £10 upfront fee). The GigaCube 5G home router comes with unlimited data for £50 per month (with a £50 upfront fee on a 12-month contract, or £325 on a 30-day rolling contract).
Two plans exist, with the Vodafone Unlimited plan costing £28 per month and capped at 10 megabits per second, and the Vodafone Unlimited Max plan costing £36 per month with no speed cap.
Each offer 5G data roaming in over 100 locations throughout Europe, as well as the standard 2G-4G roaming in a total of 77 inclusive roaming destinations (48 in Europe and 29 other destinations around the world, including USA, Canada, Australia and Jamaica). There is a limit of 25GB per month when roaming.
Customers have the option to upgrade to a handset contract after three months if they so wish.
Vodafone is also introducing 24 month SIM-only plans (with voice and text) to give better value for those willing to make a longer commitment.
The Entertainment plans include one free service from a list that includes Spotify Premium, Amazon Prime Video, Sky Sports Mobile TV or a NOW TV entertainment pass. 100 UK to EU minutes are included on all Entertainment plans.
