Oppo hooks up with Vodafone to sell phones in Europe (just in time for the Find X2 launch!)

If there’s one thing that is rather important when selling phones, it’s having them sold in places where people want to buy them.

Oppo has already got a tie-up with Carphone Warehouse, which is great, but getting a carrier on board is even better.

According to Mobile World Live, Oppo has just bagged a deal with Vodafone, getting its devices (which includes the Reno series, A series and Find X series) in Vodafone stores in Germany, UK, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Turkey and the Netherlands.

The deal starts from this month and more regions will be added later, according to the report.

Given Oppo’s active development of 5G, it seems like a perfect partnership for a network actively seeking to roll out 5G in all of its markets – including 5G roaming from one Vodafone network to another.

The Mobile World Live article also states that Oppo ranks as the world’s fifth largest smartphone vendor by shipments in Q1 of this year (source: Strategy Analytics).

All of this is great timing for Oppo’s upcoming Find X2 Pro launch in the UK, which takes place on May 27th and will feature an exclusive musical collaboration powered by the phone itself.
