Realme X3 SuperZoom incoming: Watch the livestream launch on May 26th

Realme is on a bit of a roll lately, and its latest phone – the Realme X3 SuperZoom – is less than a week away from being officially unveiled and launched in the UK.

Pricing information will have to wait until Realme gives us all the details, but for now it is possible to reveal some of the specs that should make this an exciting offering for photography aficionados.

The Realme X3 SuperZoom comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC (presumably to help keep the price down, which has to be a good sign) and given this was only launched in the last half of 2019, it has still got plenty of life left in it.

The display sports a 120Hz refresh rate, and the phone comes with a quad-camera setup that is rumoured to have a 64-megapixel primary camera (as used in the Realme X50 Pro 5G), and a 5x periscope zoom that can go on to offer an impressive 60x digital zoom.

In the first four months of 2020, Realme sold more
than 10 million smartphones, entered 27 markets across the world and
reached 35 million users worldwide.

The phone also introduces a new Starry Mode, for the astronomers amongst us who want to get the best possible photos of the currently pollution-free night sky.

If you want to find out more, add a reminder in your calendar now and make sure to watch the livestream that kicks off at 0930 BST on May 26th.

I’ll be watching and will have more information to give nearer the time.
