Three switches on 5G (August 19 2019)

So today is when Three launched 5G  but it starts with a router for home broadband, as a fixed wireless access solution.

£35 a month, on a 12 month contract, gets you a Huawei 5G router with totally unlimited data. Users who still aren't in a 5G covered area can use it on 3G and 4G of course.

Handsets are coming later this year.

Thoughts?

I suspect most of us won’t be on the 5G train anytime soon (at least those of us in the north), hopefully 2020 might be the real year for 5G for most users.

Yes, I think it will take around a year for any substantial levels of coverage.
