Ahead of a full review, here are a selection of photos taken with the very impressive Vivo X80 Pro, available to buy for £1,199.00.

The phone comes with an impressive array of cameras on the rear, along with Zeiss optics to reduce glare. The low-light performance is further boosted by Vivo’s custom image processing NPU chip.

In my short time with the phone so far, I’ve been out and about to try out the camera and you can see the results below.

With all but the ultra-wide camera featuring optical image stabilisation, it’s very hard to get a bad photo with this phone. And the rest of the phone is a powerhouse too, with fast charging, a great display, powerful chipset and loads of RAM and storage.

It also has the best fingerprint unlocking I’ve ever experienced, with a highly advanced ultrasonic sensor that also works in a larger area than most phones – allowing for faster and more accurate unlocking.

First impressions of this phone are good, and the phone recently received Android 13 to bring it bang up-to-date feature wise.

I am loving the flexibility of the camera so far, with zoom levels from 0.6 – 10x covered, and a digital zoom of up to 60x.

I’ll have a full review to publish after Christmas, but will continue to test it out over the festive period so you can find out more about this phone.

  1. I’m equally impressed with Vivo X Note, just trying to find a Global mod to iron out the creases.
    Happy Christmas 🤶
