Vodafone offers six months half price on selected 24-month SIM only plans
The next few months should be quite interesting with rumours of various shake-ups on tariffing, and Vodafone is in early with a six month half price deal on selected SIM only plans.

Three has also offered similar half price deals recently, but with Vodafone you’ll notice that this deal applies to 24-month contracts.
You see, Vodafone has recently introduced the longer term for its SIM only plans and it would appear that the prices once advertised for 12-months are now the prices for 24-months, and the 12-month contract prices have increased by around £2 or £3 a month.
While prices are likely to increase on all networks as time goes on, it’s a little disappointing to see.
However, Vodafone will no doubt be very quick to point out that it offers 5G roaming at no extra charge (subject to a cap of 25GB per month), as well as more roaming locations as standard than any other network.
On the Unlimited Max plan, you not only have access in 48 European locations, but also 29 popular destinations around the globe.
Given my personal experience of roaming with Vodafone, I can honestly say that it has given me the best user experience of any network I travel with (that even includes EE) – referring to signal availability (based on the partner networks Vodafone use) and data throughput.
The new promotion allows you to sign up to the following plans for:
- Vodafone Unlimited Lite (2Mbps cap): £11 per month for 6 months, £22 thereafter.
- Vodafone Unlimited (10Mbps cap): £13 per month for 6 months, £26 thereafter.
- Vodafone Unlimited Max (no cap): £15 per month for 6 months, £30 thereafter.
It appears that there is no current offer for those who want an Entertainment add-on, which gives you a choice of entertainment package that comprises Amazon Prime Video, Spotify, Now TV or Sky Sports Mobile TV.
