Realme expanding R&D facilities to power world-leading fast charge technology

With the launch of the Realme GT Neo 5 and the global GT3 variant, Realme is investing heavily in R&D to further develop ‘leap-forward’ technology.

All eyes will be on Barcelona for the launch of its new globally released Realme GT3, and its stunning 240W wired fast-charging system that can get the phone from totally dead to 100% charge in 9.5 minutes.

Perhaps equally impressive is the ability to get to 20% charge in just 80 seconds, or to 50% in four minutes! And despite this rapid charge system, the battery is still rated for at least 1,600 complete charge cycles.

The phone also features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 SoC, and a high-spec Sony IMX890 50-megapixel camera with OIS, as well as an impressive 144Hz screen refresh rate.

Full details of the specs of the Realme GT3 will be available after its launch event at MWC 2023 on February 28th at 1500.

Powering this industry innovation is realme continuous investment in R&D resources. The brand has now invested dedicated R&D centre named realme Global Institute of Leap-forward Technology in Shenzhen, China and a specialized branch in India.

realme’s brand mission is to empower young consumers with leap-forward technology and design. Bear this in mind, realme continues to invest behind to build its product competency. Therefore, we are proud to announce that the realme Global Institute of Leap-forward Technology was established to create a research framework to support our business growth going forward and create the leap-forward innovations needed by the market.”

Aside from that, every step of realme in product development will be based on the Spire Strategy, which means that every new product created will be equipped with at least one of the leap-forward technologies.

realme is always focused on making standout products that fans love, with more focused design technology. Through Spire Strategy, realme will improve the product experience, where each product will be supported by superior design, performance, and experience.
