Remember before Christmas when EE was offering a crazy 200GB of data for nothing? Well, now it’s offering another limited edition PAYG SIM, this time with 100GB of data valid for two months. EE Logo

This time around you’ll need to add a £10 top-up on your account and buy a 1GB data pack (which also comes with 50 minutes of calls and 50 texts), but that’s not bad considering after sending a quick text (‘100GB’ to 150) you’ll have your data allowance multiplied by 100!

And what’s more, EE will also enter you into a prize draw for a pair of tickets to Glastonbury.

You need to act quick however, as the offer of the limited edition SIM ends on May 31st. [Edit: It has now been extended until June 18th)

It isn’t clear how long you have to activate your SIM once it arrives, but I’ve ordered one and will let you know if it says in the accompanying documentation. Meanwhile, if you’ve already received one, please let me know in the comments below.

UPDATE: Having received confirmation of the SIM being sent, I have received more information from EE:

Data: Top up £10 within 14 days of getting this SIM to buy your Data Pack then text to activate the 100GB free. 100GB free starts when 1GB in the Data pack runs out and lasts up to 30 days. This happens again in month 2. Services are UK only. Packs recur automatically every 30 days. Opt out at any time.

So it appears you need to act fairly quick, and it also appears from the wording that you need to top up a further £10 in the second month to continue using any of the remaining 100GB in the second month.

Also, just like the Dan & Phil SIM promotion, if you add further credit to your account be aware that once you start a data pack, it will auto renew every month thereafter until cancelled by text.
