Samsung Galaxy A70: Big-screen budget phone with a huge battery to boot
Samsung’s latest Galaxy A70 has a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display with in-glass fingerprint sensor, triple-camera, plus a massive 4,500mAh battery. And it’s under £400.
The handset uses Samsung’s Infinity-U display, with a central ‘teardrop’ notch that differs from what has been implemented on the flagship Galaxy S models.
The £369 SIM-free handset, which will be available from 26th April, comes in four different colours – including Coral, which is this year’s ‘on-trend’ colour from Samsung.
On the camera side, the A70 has a 32-megapixel camera front and rear, with the back camera supported by a 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.
A scene optimiser can recognise and enhance up to 20 different scenes, with a flaw detection feature automatically identifying glitches before you click.
The handset comes with Android Pie out of the box, 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage – expandable by up to a further 512MB using microSDXC cards.
