OPPO launches sub-£300 MediaTek powered Reno Z

Oppo has a new member to the Reno family with the launch of the Reno Z, a £299 handset that comes with a dual-camera and hidden fingerprint unlock.
The handset, available in jet black or aurora purple, will be available from Carphone Warehouse in store and online.
EE will also sell the jet black model on selected pay monthly price plans.
Retaining the current Reno family design language, the Reno Z comes with a Sony IMX586 48-megapixel rear camera that’s paired with a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Ultra Night Mode 2 uses multi-frame noise reduction and HDR to produce clear, bright, images in low-light environments.

On the front notched display is a 32-megapixel selfie-camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The display itself is 6.4-inches, full HD+, with a 19.5:9 ratio. Within the display is a new generation fingerprint sensor that Oppo claims has been improved by 20-30%.
Powering the phone is a MediaTek Helio P90 SoC and a 4,035mAh battery.
The Reno Z comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 flash storage, as well as VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
Other features include ColorOS 6 (Android Pie) and GameBoost 2.0 that comes with FrameBoost and TouchBoost, as well as options to reduce distractions from things like notifications when gaming.
