New OnePlus 7T series coming to London, October 10th. Two people can win paid-for trip including CEO lunch!

Has it really been that long since OnePlus unveiled its new 7 series of handsets? Well, clearly the phone maker thinks so as it is now ready to release the mid-cycle ‘T’ series models.

The date has now been confirmed as 10th October, at 4pm British Summer Time, at a swanky new London venue in north Greenwich.

As with other phone launches, the general public can attend too by buying a ticket. These will go on sale from 20th September on its website (oneplus.com).

According to the press-release, the OnePlus 7T series will showcase the latest screen innovation, to give a “super-smooth experience like never before.”. That’s quite a bold claim given the OnePlus 7 Pro already has a silky-smooth 90Hz refresh rate.

“OnePlus has been built around the idea of fast and smooth, and we constantly challenge ourselves to be even better. Your smartphone’s display is the element you interact with the most, so it makes sense to invest in screen innovation. I’m really excited to hear what our users think of the OnePlus 7T Series.”

Pete Lau, CEO and founder of OnePlus

Like other phone launches, OnePlus attendees can experience a range of interactive experiences and demos, with a chance to earn swag and goodies only available at the event.

For those not planning to attend but keen to learn what’s new, the event will be streamed via the OnePlus site and via its Twitter and YouTube accounts. If I get to attend, I’ll also live Tweet the proceedings too.

The first instalment of the OnePlus 7T Series will initially be announced in India on 26th September. But OnePlus boasts much more to come in London, so it will definitely be worth looking out for.

Finally, OnePlus is giving two lucky people a chance to win a trip to attend the global launch in London, with flights and hotels all paid for by OnePlus. If that wasn’t enough, they’ll also have lunch with Pete Lau ahead of the launch.

  1. OnePlus phones have fantastic, market-leading, features and smooth functionality; all at a lower price point than other flagship phones. However, there are defects and faults which are known by the manufacturer but never corrected.
