Motorola launches £99 E6s smartphone
Continuing with its budget E-series line, Motorola is launching the £99 Motorola E6s with a dual-camera and large HD display.
The Motorola E6s will be available from a number of retailers, including Amazon, Argos, Carphone Warehouse, John Lewis, O2 and Tesco.
The phone comes with a 6.1-inch 720×1560 pixel display, 13+2 megapixel rear camera setup, 5-megapixel selfie camera and a 3,000mAh battery. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with 2GB of RAM and 32GB (expandable) storage.
It is water resistant too, coping with accidental spills or splashes – as well as rain – but not actual submergence in water.
Obviously at this price point it isn’t attempting to compete with more expensive models (even from its own range), but the E series is about offering a value proposition to customers that have different priorities.
Finally, there is a single and dual-SIM version available. Traditionally, the dual-SIM versions have generally been available on Amazon for a slight premium.
