OnePlus launches Snapdragon 750G powered Nord CE (Core Edition) 5G
OnePlus has added another new phone to its Nord family, the Nord CE 5G, that will retail from just £299. It’s also the thinnest OnePlus since the 6T.
With a large 6.43-inch AMOLED HDR10+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, a 64-megapixel primary camera, 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage, large 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast-charging, and 5G, it’s quite a phone for the money.
For just £70 more, you can bump up the specs to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage.
The phone also retains the 3.5mm headphone port for those who still can’t quite cope with the prospect of giving it up, yet still manages to be extremely thin at 7.9mm (the thinnest OnePlus handset since the OnePlus 6T).
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G will be available in three colours (including a fingerprint resistant blue void colour), from OnePlus direct, Amazon, John Lewis, and on Three.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G comes with a 4,500mAh battery, nearly 10% larger than the original Nord. But thanks to improved Warp Charge 30T Plus charging technology, the battery still goes from 0 to 70% in just half an hour – getting you a little bit more than you’d expect. Like all OnePlus devices, Nord CE also adapts to reduce the time spent at 100% battery to maintain good battery health while charging overnight.
Nord CE is powered by a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 750G 5G Mobile Platform which offers a 20% CPU and 10% GPU boost over its predecessor, thanks to the Kryo 570 CPU and Adreno 619 GPU. The advanced AI Engine also provides users with an incredibly smooth and intuitive experience, from enhanced gaming to improved voice chat.
Nord CE comes pre-installed with OxygenOS 11, OnePlus’s fastest and most responsive software to date. OxygenOS 11 features significant improvements to beloved features like Dark Mode, Zen Mode, and a new always on display (AOD). In addition, OOS 11 has been optimized for single-handed operations, thanks to repositioned touch controls and a simple yet bold design.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G will go on sale immediately after the launch event to our core fans, the OnePlus Community, from 3:25 PM BST to midnight on June 12 at http://onepl.us/UK. Those who buy OnePlus Nord CE 5G in the Core Sale will be rewarded by being among the first to receive it from June 14.
Customers can also pre-order OnePlus Nord CE 5G from Amazon UK from June 10, and from Three from June 11. OnePlus Nord CE 5G will then go on general sale in all channels from June 21.
