[Updated] Poco announces release of M3 Pro 5G in UK
It seems Realme has got some competition, with the UK launch of the Poco M3 Pro 5G. On paper it has near-identical specs to the recently launched Realme 8 5G.
Powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast-charging, the same RAM and storage configurations (4+64GB and 6+128GB), a 48-megapixel primary camera and two 2-megapixel cameras for macro and depth-sensing, you could be excused for thinking this is the exact same phone as the Realme 8 5G.
About the only difference I can ascertain from the press release below is a variable refresh-rate display that can go from 90Hz down to as low as 30Hz (albeit with an over-the-air software update that will come after release).
Another feature missing from the Realme phone is an IR-blaster.
The Poco M3 Pro 5G comes with a crafted 3D curved back design that has three colour options: Poco Yellow, Power Black, and Cool Blue.

Early bird discounts will also be available, bringing the pricing down by £40 to £139 and £159 respectively.
