Honor is back and it has launched the Magic 3, Magic 3 Pro and Magic 3 Pro+ – Read about the launch as it happened

Honor is back and freed from the shackles of US trade policy, meaning the new devices can now work with all of Google’s services. Today saw the launch of the new Magic 3 series, comprising three models.

The new devices are particularly exciting because Honor was a popular, trusted, phone maker that offered exceptional value devices to a mass market – in the same vein as the other Chinese phone makers/brands like Xiaomi and Realme.

Indeed, Honor was one of the originators of the phones for ‘digital natives’ who saw through the hype associated with the pricier flagships from the incumbent manufacturers. They wanted high-end features and great design, without paying through the nose for it.

Now Honor is back, it’s great for all of us as it once again gives more choice – and, more importantly, more competition.

With Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco all being under the same umbrella, and BBK behind Realme, Oppo, Vivo, IQOO and OnePlus, it’s great to see another, independent, player in the market.
