Samsung Galaxy A90 5G makes next-gen more affordable
Samsung has announced the A90 5G, which brings 5G to a wider audience. It will be available to pre-order in the UK from 20th September and on sale 4th October.

The handset is far from budget, but will still retail for a lot less than the bulk of 5G handsets available for sale today. Exact pricing should be available shortly before pre-ordering opens.
It comes with a triple rear-camera configuration, sporting a 48-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Up front is a 32-megapixel snapper.
Theres a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6 or 8GB of RAM, and internal storage of 128GB with microSDXC expansion.

On the 5G side, the A90 5G supports non-standalone sub-6GHz 5G. This means 5G data is combined with 4G.
The A90 5G also has an embedded fingerprint reader on the screen, face recognition, a 4,500mAh battery and 25 watt super fast charging.
Finally, the phone has a huge 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with teardrop notch.
It will be on display at Samsung’s booth at IFA this week, so I will hopefully get a chance to go hands-on and post some first impressions.
