The 5G phones have already been announced in China, so the event will be more about recapping on the specifications and giving details on pricing and availability.

The UK is initially set to get only the Mi 10, although that doesn’t mean the Mi 10 Pro won’t be offered later.

The key difference between the two models is the camera configuration.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 has a 108-megapixel primary camera, with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and two 2-megapixel sensors for macro and depth measuring.

The Mi 10 Pro on the other hand has the same 108-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, 12-megapixel portrait camera and a 20-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

Both variants have a Snapdragon 865 SoC, with 5G support, 30W wireless charging (the fastest available on any handset), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, stereo sound, plus a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. Storage options range from 128GB up to 512GB.

Battery wise, the Mi 10 Pro comes with a 4,500mAh battery and 50W mains charging, while the Mi 10 has a larger 4,780mAh battery but slower 30W mains charging.
