Realme X50 5G to offer another accessible entry into the world of 5G

Hot on the heels of Realme’s flagship 5G phone, the Realme X50 Pro 5G, comes a more affordable sibling that offers 5G to more people.

The X50 5G is due to be announced in the UK tomorrow, July 14th, at 10am. Here the full details of pricing and availability will be announced – and following the event, the details will also be posted here.

The flagship Pro model comes with Qualcomm’s top-end Snapdragon 865 chipset, 90Hz AMOLED display and a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup – selling for £569.

The X50 5G will come with Qualcomm’s more affordable Snapdragon 765G chipset that should ensure a big saving. A larger 6.57-inch display is further enhanced with a 120Hz refresh rate (but LCD), and the phone also retains a quad-camera configuration but this time with a 48-megapixel primary sensor over the Pro’s 64-megapixel snapper.

The X50 5G still comes with a large 4,200mAh battery and 30W fast charging, plus a combined power/fingerprint sensor on the side as seen on the Realme X3 SuperZoom.

Realme will also use the event to launch the new realme Buds Q wireless earbuds, which is expected to retail at an extremely competitive price.
