Oppo launches phone-powered Mobile Cinema on London’s South Bank

Oppo has launched the world’s first mobile cinema, powered by a Find X2 Pro, running until September 6th and with a chance to win various prizes.

At the physical event (yes, this isn’t a livestream to view from home), attendees will be able to view a selection of BIFA-nominated short films and Claire Oakley’s ‘Make-up’ at London Observation Point, South Bank.

From the comfort of a recliner seat in a VIP pop-up cinema, users will be able to watch a range of films in comfort – using an Oppo Find X2 Pro.

The incredible high-definition display with Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers means the unique mobile cinema will deliver a ‘visually and aurally arresting experience that will delight movie-goers with a new and exciting way to watch films’.

“It’s been a difficult time for the UK, especially those in the creative industries. As audiences get excited about cinema re-openings, we want to give film-lovers a chance to enjoy some of the UK’s greatest up-and-coming filmmaking talent.

“What’s more, the audience can experience the amazing films on the immersive cinema-like display of our OPPO Find X2 Pro devices – and with 5G, users can view these films on-the-go in the very best quality.”

Kevin Cho, Oppo’s UK Managing Director

In addition, viewers can order their favourite food and drink using a touchless 5G snack bar, as well as the opportunity to win prizes from Google, Bang & Olufsen, or an Oppo Find X2 Pro itself.
