Honor launches new Pro laptop and fitness band; MagicBook Pro and Band 6
Honor launches a brand new Pro laptop to add to its MagicBook line, plus the new Honor Band 6 wearable.
Honor MagicBook Pro
The new MagicBook Pro, likely to cost around $1000, comes with an Intel i5 10th Gen (10210U) processor and NVIDIA GeForce MX350 GPU, as well as a large 16.1-inch display (1920×1080 pixels with 1000:1 contrast ratio and 300 nits brightness) with 100% sRGB colour gamut.
There’s 512GB NVMe SSD storage coupled with 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM, plus a fingerprint sensor integrated within the power button like other recent MagicBook laptops, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports, a USB-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Weighing in at 1.7Kg and measuring 369x234x16.9mm, the MagicBook Pro comes with a 56Wh battery that is good for up to 11.5 hours on a single charge and coming with a 65W USB-C charger in the box that can get the laptop up to around 50% from 0% in 30 minutes.
Honor Band 6
The Honor Band 6 continues a long line of fitness products from Honor, and the new model comes with a large and bright 1.47-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 194×364 pixels (around 2.5 times the pixels of the last model).
Coming in a choice of three colours, black, grey, and pink, the watch offers 14 days of battery life on a single charge (10 days in heavy usage scenarios).
There’s the promise of highly accurate heart rate monitoring with TruSeen 4.0 technology, as well as blood oxygen (SpO2) reading, water resistance to 5 atmospheres, sleep and stress monitoring, female cycle tracker, and 10 workout modes.
The Honor Band 6 will retail globally for around $35.
Both devices will have global availability and regional pricing announced later.
