Huawei launches low-cost FreeBuds 4i with active noise cancellation for under £80
Huawei has announced the new FreeBuds 4i, with active noise cancellation and 10 hours of battery life, available from tomorrow to pre-order.
The earbuds will go on sale officially on March 26th at the Huawei Store and other selected retailers, with a special bundle for those who place an order between now and then.

The HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i earphones inherit the superb features from HUAWEI FreeBuds Series, including comfortable ANC, a remarkable battery life and crystal-clear audio for an unprecedented audio experience.

HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i can detect ambient noise through microphones on the body of the device to generate a reverse sound wave for effective ANC. The noise cancellation algorithm targets typical noisy scenarios such as a busy shopping centre, loud public transport, the office, or human voices for ANC optimisation; providing users with a comfortable noise cancellation experience.
HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i also features the Awareness Mode, allowing users to hear their surroundings without taking off the earbuds. By simply pressing and holding the earbud, HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i will switch between Awareness Mode and Active Noise Cancellation Mode automatically.
To reduce the interference of environmental noise during calls, HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i adopts three anti-interference technologies to improve the call quality. The exclusive beamforming technology allows the microphones to pick up the user’s voice accurately, the dual-mic system comes with a slit-duct design to effectively reduce outdoor wind noise, and the AI noise reduction technology filters out extra noise.
