Tab Speed 6: Vodafone’s new budget 4G tablet (with video review link)
Vodafone today announced the Tab speed 6, a 4G-enabled 8-inch tablet that will retail on prepay for just £125, or from £16 per month on contract (with 3GB of data included).

The specs provided by Vodafone are pretty sparse (see below), and the selection of images even more limited (see right), although if you’ve seen one black tablet then you’ve probably seen them all.
Clearly the selling point here is the price, and its ability to continue enjoying Spotify, Netflix or YouTube, or games that require a constant connection, even when you leave a Wi-Fi connection.
The specs as provided by Vodafone show this certainly isn’t high-spec, but if it’s half as good as Vodafone’s Smart Ultra 6 smartphone then it could be a great buy for anyone wanting seamless connectivity without messing around with portable hotspots or tethering.

There’s not much else to say until I get one to look at myself, but until then tech blogger Purav D has been using a Tab speed 6 since before Christmas and has already published his video review – so check it out below.
