Recently, O2 made the OnePlus 3 available to all. Today, it is offering wannabe hackers a chance to win the phone.

There’s no time to waste as O2 is giving people just four days (that’s until the 21st October) to win, so I’ll keep things short and sweet.

A formula will be displayed on an O2 billboard opposite the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch each day, and the first person to crack the code that day will win a phone.

Sounds easy doesn’t it?

The deciphered code will reveal a secret location and password for players to claim their free device. There will be a new phone for each of the four days the competition runs.

Unfortunately, I can’t give any clues and can only wish participants the best of luck. But if you can’t make it to Shoreditch or don’t crack the code first, you can of course go over to the O2 website to look at the range of tariff options to buy the phone instead!

UPDATE 18th October 2016: The first phone was gone in just six minutes!
