It might seem like madness, but I’ve decided to launch my own discussion forum!
Given how every network, manufacturer, man, woman and their dog now run forums, it isn’t going to be easy. In fact, for years it has been extremely difficult to get traction when there are so many other ways that people now engage in discussion (from Facebook pages to Twitter).
But I’m going to give it a go anyway, as I’ve always had a passion for forums and don’t want to see them die off. Ever since I set up my own bulletin board in the 1990s, I’ve had a love for them.
To be a success needs your help though. A forum can not exist without members posting new threads and replying to others, gaining and sharing knowledge in the process.
It’s the place to talk about phones you own, phones you’re wanting to own, network issues, discussing what accessories to buy – or just relax and unwind with some non-tech chat, from sport, TV, music or politics.
Please take a look and let me know what you think. You can post your comments on the forum itself on what you think can be done to make it as good as possible.
If it does become successful, I can look at expanding it but let’s do one thing at a time.
