Oppo Find X2 Pro Photo Gallery: Part One

Following Oppo’s announcement of the flagship Find X2 Pro, here’s the start of a series of photo galleries to demonstrate what the camera is capable of.

It’s important to note that Oppo told me the phone is not a final retail model, and although we’ve all heard the excuse that there will be fixes to address any issues found during a review, there are a few specific issues that are very much real and are going to be addressed.

The most noticeable issue is when the phone saves a 10x hybrid zoom photo. Although looking just fine on the screen (and Oppo made a big deal of calibrating every sensor so photos look consistent at any level of zoom), they are much darker once saved.

This will definitely be fixed before the phone goes on sale in May. Indeed, an update might be available as early as this week and I intend to hold off doing a review until some of these bugs are fixed as it would simply not be fair to judge the phone before then.

Other issues include the camera app sometimes quitting and the photo being lost, another bug that I have completely confidence in it being fixed before the phones are released.

Please let me know what you think of the photos, and check back on my site for future photo albums as I have only had the phone for a couple of days so far.

You can also see a link to the open Google Photos gallery below, so if you decide to get a Find X2 Pro then you can add your own photos and video in there.
