OnePlus confirms flagship OnePlus 8 Pro will get wireless charging

OnePlus continues its daily drop of OnePlus 8 news, this time revealing the top model will get wireless charging.

The OnePlus wireless charging solution will be called Warp Charge 30 Wireless, referring to a maximum charging rate of 30 Watts.

This allows a 30 minute charge to get the flagship phone from 0% to 50%. Of course, we don’t yet know how big the battery will be but rumours circulating suggest it might be the biggest capacity on a OnePlus device yet.

The launch event will take place on April 14th at 4pm BST.

Of course, at this rate the only thing left for Pete Lau to reveal on stage will be the pricing and colour selection!
