Realme X50 5G: First impressions after an evening stroll

I’ve just taken receipt of the Realme X50 5G, a £299 5G phone competing against a large number of mid-range 5G phones going on sale at around the same time.

I’ll be reviewing this in the coming weeks, along with the Oppo Find X2 Neo review still to go live, but for now I have posted some photos after going out on an evening walk.

I posted a Twitter thread earlier, which you can see below for convenience. If you want to see the photos in full, please go to the thread direct.

So today Google announced the Pixel 4a, and tomorrow the @oneplus Nord goes on sale.

I haven't got either of those, but today I did get the £299 @realmeUK X50 5G. Big (LCD) screen, battery with 30W fast charge, 5G and quad-cameras.

So I went out this evening to try it out…

I'll be out in the daytime to check it out properly, but here are some photos as the sun was setting – right up to when it got totally dark.

What do you think? Under £300 for a 5G phone.

I want one of these. Do they do an EV version?
