
Nokia announces two new phones, sets date for first 5G phone, and launches new accessories
HMD Global, the company making phones branded using Nokia’s iconic brand yesterday launched some new products, as well as – finally – giving an on-sale date for its 5G Nokia 8.3 announced earlier in the year.
- The company also stated that it still has more to announce before the year is out.
Nokia 8.3 5G
First up, the already announced Nokia 8.3 5G that features in the upcoming Bond movie No Time to Die will go on sale from October 8th in Polar Night, with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage for £499. Available from Nokia direct or Amazon.
Nokia 2.4
The Nokia 2.4 comes with a MediaTek chipset, large 6.5-inch HD+ (720p) display, two days of battery, plus a dual-camera setup. There’s also a fingerprint sensor, plus two years of OS updates that will include upgrades to both Android 11 and Android 12.

Nokia 3.4
The Nokia 3.4 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset, full HD+ display, and a triple-camera setup. It also comes with biometric security, and two days of battery life.
