Aznu is a new way to get a second hand phone without the worries
Saving the environment is a good thing. Saving money at the same time makes it a no-brainer. Now a company called Aznu is enabling you to do this without any apprehension over quality.
When you look at any review of a smartphone from the last few years, it is clear that a phone that’s a year or so old still has plenty of life left in it.
An obvious concern of buying second hand is not knowing the history of the phone. Has it been damaged? Has it been reported stolen? Is it going to be scuffed or scratched?
With an Aznu phone, the company has removed all of those fears. Not only do you get a phone guaranteed not to have any scratches or dents, but the company also provides a one-year warranty on the phone, and six months on the battery.
The company also guarantees that the battery will be at least 85% of its original capacity when you buy it.
To start things off, Aznu has a range of Samsung Galaxy handsets that will be available to buy exclusively from Argos. The phones come in a special Aznu box with the phone having only original parts used if anything was replaced to make it as good as new.
A compatible charger is then included along with 12 months of Norton 360 Deluxe Internet security and VPN protection to complete the package.
Unlike other companies offering refurbished phones, Aznu has been set up by mobile industry experts who sought to eliminate inconsistencies in quality, concentrating instead on releasing specific phones that are able to be given the best possible treatment and control.
Save more than just the enviroment
Besides doing your good deed for the day in saving a handset from landfill, you can also stand to save money by not having to sign up to an expensive contract, or upgrade an existing one.
Instead, you can opt for a heavily discounted SIM-only deal and save a load of money for however long you keep your phone. With some operators now offering totally unlimited data plans for a little over £20-25 per month, that’s quite a saving over the £50-100 per month you’d be likely charged with a brand new phone.
You’ll also be able to rest easy knowing you’ve helped reduce carbon emissions.
“Recognising inconsistency and an opportunity to provide unparalleled consistency to consumers Aznu set about making a change,
“We launched Aznu to give a second life to handsets and offer customers a fully working handset, that looks great, at an affordable price. The refurbished market is growing but it has issues, Aznu is making a stand and delivering ‘as new’ models to its customers.
“No more grading, no more confusion, just great handsets that enable you to take those perfect images on an undamaged camera and continue to enjoy gaming and movie streaming and social media interaction on a clear, unscratched screen.”
