
Honor announces Honor 70, Pad 8 tablet, and Honor X8 5G for UK release
The Honor 70 comes with an exclusive 54-megapixel Sony IMX800 image sensor, while the Pad 8 tablet boasts a 12-inch 2K resolution display. The Honor X8 5G is an affordable budget smartphone with 5G.

The Honor 70 has a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display, 54-megapixel Sony IMX800 wide camera and 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, Wi-Fi 6, 4,800mAh battery with 66W wired charging, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G Plus 5G chipset.
Pricing starts at £479.99 for the 8+128GB model from HiHonor, Argos, Currys, and Amazon, with a 8+256GB model available on Vodafone and Three for £529.99.
The phone officially goes on sale on September 2nd.
There will be special launch offers available from Honor’s Hihonor website from August 26th.
At the time of writing, this includes a free set of Honor Earbuds 3 Pro with a value of £169.99.

There’s a large 12-inch 2K FullView display, along with eight integrated speakers with DTS:X Ultra Hi-Res audio and Honor’s Histen sound tuning technology.
Honor X8 5G
The £229.9 Honor X8 5G is an affordable 5G compatible phone that is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 chipset, and packs in a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging, 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.


There’s a 48-megapixel primary camera, 6.5-inch 720p display, Wi-Fi 5, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
It will be available from HiHonor, Argos, Amazon and Three from September 2nd.
